UTK - Fifth Grade Students

2:15 - 3:15 PM

Class meets in the lunch court. All UTK and K are escorted to the class by the instructor. Release is at the back of school traffic circle

• August 25 - Pinch animal house or pot
• September 1 - Slab lidded container
• September 8 - Coil, slab, combination
• September 15 - Glazing
• September 22 - Cars, trains, planes
• September 29 - Organic form, pot or sculpture
• October 6 - Favorite book, cartoon or movie character
• October 13 - Glazing
• October 20 - Delivery of art next series of classes begins

Classes consist of (8) one hour sessions, clay supplies and firing.

UTK - Fifth Grade Students

12:15 - 1:15 pm

Class meets at the green lunch tables east of the lunch area. Release is at the west double door gates facing the parking lot

All UTK and K are escorted to the class

• August 26 - 3 Textured pinch pot set
• September 2 - Coil pot with legs or stand
• September 9 - Triangle slab pot with keyed lid
• September 16 - Glazing
• September 23 - Cars, trains and planes
• September 30 - Teapot
• October 7 - Slab cups
• October 14 - Glazing
• October 21 - Delivery of art - next series of classes starts

Classes consist of (8) one hour sessions, clay supplies and firing.

• September 3 - School spirit pot or sculpture
• September 10 - Bridges and rainbows
• September 17 - Glazing
• September 24 - Ocean creature
• October 1 - Plant inspired pot
• October 8 - Halloween scary art
• October 15 - Glazing
• October 22 - Delivery art at 3:25 pm in the lunch court. Next series starts

• September 11 - Hand sculpture
• September 18 - Glazing
• September 25 - Cars, trains, planes - Meets at 12:15 PM (Minimum day)
• October 2 - Ancient Native American pots
• October 9 - Animal or ocean creature - Meets at 12:15 PM (Minimum day)
• October 16 - Glazing
• October 23 -Delivery of art to the lunch court @ 2:10 PM - New series starts
